    Summer Solstice Flower Workshop

    21.06.26 15:00-17:00

    Overview

Get ready to dive into flower magic and summer solstice wonder with some hands-on fun!

Join us for an enchanting afternoon of creation, intention, and botanical alchemy.

    Weaving the Solar Crown

Crown yourself in the vibrant energy of Midsummer. Guided by the language of flowers, you will hand-weave a custom crown using wild blooms, sacred herbs, and lush greenery. Each blossom you choose will carry its own whisper of magic—whether it is the protective gold of St. John’s Wort, the loving embrace of roses, or the clarity of lavender.

Bottling the Sun: Alchemy & Aura Sprays

Capture the essence of the solstice to carry with you through the darker half of the year. You will blend crystal-infused waters, pure essential oils, and solar-charged botanicals to craft your own personalized aura spray. Mist it to invoke warmth, radiance, and the boundless joy of summer whenever you need to call your inner light forward.

No prior experience in floristry or alchemy is required—only an open heart and a desire to create. Come celebrate the abundance of the earth, connect with community, and leave adorned in your own living magic.

    Crowsley Park, Berkshire

Long before they were written down, stories were told. The firelit words of the ancient storytellers fell onto the painted walls of gnarly caves and into the ears of those assembled - it was a shared experience, both entertaining and instructive. This series of masterclasses aims to reconnect us with this ancient oral tradition in order to discover the healing and inspirational power of live storytelling. As psychologist and mythologist Dr. Sharon Blackie says: 'Stories, especially fairy tales, are essential sources of wisdom, transformation and empowerment.

We have created a space - initially focused on women - where you can unlock your spoken voice with the confidence that it will be heard. Arrive with nothing but your story, your curiosity and a willingness to embrace your creativity. Leave with a deeper understanding of vocal techniques, the use of delivery to shape narrative, archetypes and the vital role of storytelling down the ages.

Above all, you will end the day with the self-confidence to tell your story - be it your own or one that you have chosen.

We are Milfid Ellis - voice coach, filmmaker and author and Sarah Swords - film-maker, screenwriter and mentor. Let us guide you on a path to reclaim your birthright and contribute your new stories to the old, so that we leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

The venue is 300-year-old Crowsley Park, where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote "The Hound of the Baskervilles: Surrounded by ancient parkland, it is the perfect inspirational setting for creativity and renewal.

The cost is £350.00 to include refreshments on arrival, homemade lunch, tea and cake.
